Our unique hex head design creates a product that approaches the handling of thread protectors in a more efficient manner. By using an impact wrench along with our specially designed socket, the time spent installing and removing thread protectors is vastly reduced.

Safety advantages are also a key point to our IHTP. We want to use this product to help make the pipe industry a safer environment for pipe handlers. When using the IHTP human hands are less "hands on" and more removed from pinch points that can be caused by rolling pipe. The IHTP also promotes less worker fatigue.

Our thread protectors have been field proven to be removed and reinstalled in seconds verses minutes when using an impact wrench compared to old style thread protectors. Even in temperatures as extreme as -60°, when paired with Artic Grade pipe dope our IHTP can still be removed with ease. This means less labor hours which equates to safer work environments, saving time and dollars.
